The project's positive program centers on broad middle-class flourishing as the constructive telos that political philosophy, strategy, and economic reform all serve. A regime is judged by what it delivers along five axes — captured in the Big Five / WELFI / HEPWF indicators: Healthy Lifespan, Education / IQ, Purchasing Power, Wealth Accumulation, Family Formation. These outcomes are organized politically under the five P's: Pluralism, Progress, Peace, Prosperity, Power. SearchStar is the proposed measurement framework that would hold managers accountable by scoring individuals (and the populations they manage) on the flourishing scale. Top-tier diaspora behaviors — thrift, effort, family cohesion, impulse control — and Singapore-style state policies are the model. Success is measured as GDP per capita of the middle 80%. A sharper recent theological move reframes the entire program: redistribution that forces equality opposes truth and produces both injustice and worse; grace inverts truth's unequal distributions through exalted sacrifice; the flourishing program is the lived form of grace inverting truth, not equality opposing it.
The five P's: the regime's positive program
The compact policy frame (raw/keep/political-objectives.md):
- Pluralism — let people define their communities however they like.
- Progress — promote investment in productive business, not asset speculation and consumption.
- Peace — break the law and go to jail (isolate, rehabilitate, integrate).
- Prosperity — invest resources productively in developing communities.
- Power — wealth, income, education, health, family.
The fifth P — Power — is itself a meta-pointer to the five flourishing axes. Power is WELFI delivered: the citizen's actual capacity to act in the world.
The Big Five / WELFI: flourishing made measurable

Grace inverts truth; equality opposes it
A theological diagnostic now organizes the flourishing program (raw/inbox/2026-06-01t08-25-30-561z-will-set-you-free.md).
Truth — accepted honestly — produces unequal distributions along every flourishing axis. Some people have higher healthy lifespan potential than others. Some accumulate wealth more naturally. Some form families more readily. Some achieve cognitive development beyond the population mean. These inequalities are not failures of the system; they are features of the universe's laws, expressed as power laws.
Four political responses are available:

The fundamental claim: redistribution that forces equality opposes truth. It violates the laws of the universe in ways that create massive levels of human suffering and chaos. The political ideologies that dominate the contemporary West — measuring human value through productivity and statistics, then redistributing wealth and talent to manufacture equality — are not corrective. They are themselves the disorder. Today most of us live between injustice and equality, which feels like the right place because fairness seems virtuous; but it produces the easy-to-fool-and-manipulate population that supplies fascism with its base.
The constructive alternative is grace inverting truth through exalted sacrifice. Female beauty is the load-bearing example: truth says young female beauty is a transcendent good; the pagan response is to disfigure the young to manufacture equality or shame those who notice; the Christian response is to exalt the sacrifice of beauty on the altar of motherhood. Mary inverts Venus. The same logic operates across the flourishing axes — the warrior's youthful strength sacrificed for a just cause; the entrepreneur's youthful risk-bearing sacrificed for productive enterprise; the scholar's youthful intelligence sacrificed for the cultivation of others.
The flourishing program is therefore not redistribution-by-other-means. It is the lived political form of grace inverting truth. The Big Five indicators measure whether the middle 80% is rising; they do not require the top 1% to fall. The Calvinist double-predestination / power-law frame (raw/keep/dp-and-the-power-law.md) is honest about asymmetric distribution; grace is honest about how to honor the sacrifice that asymmetric distributions cost the people who make them.
Gilded enslavement: the diagnosis
The capture's signature diagnostic is gilded enslavement (raw/inbox/2026-06-01t08-25-30-561z-will-set-you-free.md). The working mother with the luxury handbag has been enslaved twice — to the productivity gods that demand her wage labor and to the consumerist gods that demand the visible signal of her productivity — while being denied the dynastic exaltation that motherhood traditionally received. The luxury brand is the gold leaf on the chain.
The corollary observation is that the contemporary redistribution apparatus systematically reroutes resources away from community services that would produce flourishing (youth social spaces, athletics that value participation over state championships, education that works for every student) toward garbage culture (TikTok algorithm-managed servitude, Instagram anxiety-induction click economies, Roblox pedophile hunting grounds). The "homeless" rhetoric is the canonical move: drug addicts with profound mental health issues are renamed as people who need a home, licensing massive redistribution to fascist-aligned providers of "homes" while doing nothing to address addiction or mental health. The same move plays out across every domain in which redistribution licenses extraction.
The political consequence is sharp. Anti-redistribution conservatism is apophatic opposition that loses; the proper inversion is to force flourishing through transparent local investment in the things that actually produce the Big Five outcomes, while exposing the redistribution apparatus through transparency of public spending. GDP per capita of the middle 80%: the right aggregate

Aggregate GDP and even GDP-per-capita can be inflated by elite outliers without delivering middle-class flourishing. The middle 80% of the population is the test bed. If the median 80th-percentile household isn't gaining on the five axes, the regime is failing.
This metric reconciles with the grace-inverts-truth frame. Top-1% acceleration is truth's honest expression of power laws; middle-80% rising is grace's inversion through which the productive sacrifice of the top tail is exalted into civilizational flourishing rather than channeled into gilded enslavement or extractive consumption.
SearchStar: measuring flourishing and holding managers accountable
raw/keep/searchstar.md proposes a flourishing score per individual that aggregates upward to hold managers accountable — Burnham's managerial class made answerable for outcomes:

The political use case: the unaccountability of the managerial class is the structural problem behind regime failure. SearchStar makes their record legible. The metric is the lever.
Behaviors that produce flourishing
A stable cluster of behaviors produces optimal WELFI outcomes (raw/keep/behaviors-that-drive-optimal-outcomes.md):
- Thrift — saving > spending; modest consumption.
- Impulse control — deferred gratification; the Triple Package.
- Effort over talent — the working-class virtues; intensity as habit.
- Two-parent stable family — the load-bearing institution.
- Low substance use — alcohol, drugs, screen addiction.
- Intergenerational asset-building — wealth as multigenerational project.
These behaviors are observed in top-tier diasporas and described by Chua / Rubenfeld's Triple Package thesis. They persist after controlling for host-country institutions and SES.
Policies that produce flourishing

- Fee-for-service Medicare — incentivizes volume of treatment, not health

- Occupational licensing — gates the working middle class
- College-for-all — extends economic adolescence
- Asset tests on means-tested programs — penalize savings

Capacity-building, not Chettyism

Chettyism — moving low-performing populations into high-performing neighborhoods and institutions — is the named enemy of the flourishing program. It enriches the credentialed class that profits from service delivery, asset-bubble inflation, and consumption lending while destroying the receiving communities. (race-identity-immigration)
The correct move is the inverse: transfer the institutions, capital, and competencies into underperforming areas while letting communities self-organize culturally. Under the grace-inverts-truth frame, this is itself the political form of the inversion: rather than forcing equality through population transfer (which destroys both the receiving community and the productive middle class), exalt the sacrifice of institutional excellence into wider availability through capacity transfer.
The role of "the princes"
A specifically theological gloss (raw/keep/dp-and-the-power-law.md):
"The role of the princes is to mitigate the negative effects of the power law on society. These effects are anything that reduces healthy lifespan, education, broad accumulation of wealth, purchasing power and family formation." —

A Calvinist double-predestination structure is conceded: human capacities are unevenly distributed. The legitimate ruling class — "the princes" — exists to mitigate the power law's tail effects on the five flourishing axes, raising the middle 80% even when the top tail accelerates away. Under the grace-inverts-truth frame, the prince's task is structurally identical to the dynastic mother's: to take a position of asymmetric advantage and exalt it through sacrifice into broad flourishing rather than convert it into extractive consumption or gilded enslavement.
Standing problems and gaps
- Five vs. seven indicators. Most files use five-axis WELFI; SearchStar adds local community and cultural participation. The article holds the five as canonical, the seven as maximal.
- Pluralism vs. behavioral prescription. The five P's start with pluralism but the rest of the program prescribes specific behaviors. Reconciliation: pluralism within outcomes — communities can self-organize as long as they deliver flourishing on the five axes.
- Behavior vs. policy vs. genetics. Likely synthesis: policy reshapes behavior over generations.
- Pluralism vs. Chettyism. Anti-Chetty says don't move people, transfer institutions. The federalist answer is local pluralism. The boundary between local pluralism and central enforcement of flourishing standards is unresolved.
- Marriage policy contradictions. Various proposals coexist (ending no-fault divorce for couples with children, paying mothers 25% of husband's wage, shaming out-of-wedlock motherhood). Flagged as unresolved.
- Grace inverts truth vs. equality opposes truth. The new theological frame is clean but compressed. It needs more work on edge cases — when is exalting sacrifice the right move, and when does it shade into glorifying suffering for its own sake? The author's Catholic-Christian register answers this through the saints (true sacrifice produces flourishing, false sacrifice produces martyrdom-for-its-own-sake), but the political operationalization is not worked out.
- End-of-history / corporate-state framing is a different theory of legitimacy. Both serve flourishing as telos.
